You could create a 3D-machine model from a 2D-DXF. The old HCE edition was/is quite handy, since it supports quite a few CAD-functions and can be used for basic editing/preparing and machine deploying of simple designs. From my understanding only the HCE version would have some of the CAD functions unlocked. And I just installed and can run TBC-HCE-4.10.īefore the switch to V5.0 there always were two TBC versions, the standard survey version and the HCE (Heavy Civil Edition). I have a rather old Surface Pro 3 as private laptop that runs an up-to-date Win10 Pro. (Only the mobile device center for old USB-devices had some issues and needed a special patch) I can't recall too many issues regards Win10 from my old SITECH days. Win10 was released in July 2015, TBC 4.0 in September 2017, so it definitely worked with Win10. At what point does it crash? Dongle driver, DirectX? Must be a rather unfortunate driver/hardware issue in your case.
